Cotton House Hotel

The Cotton House Hotel gets its name as it stands on the site of the former headquarters of the 19th-century Cotton Textile Foundation. The original elements of the building have been conserved, such as the gorgeous marble staircase, delicate ceiling embellishments, floors and walls in some of the rooms. The famous spiral staircase built in 1957, the main feature of which is that it is not supported on the floor below, but is suspended from the metal frame of the upper floor, gives the hotel a light and airy aspect.

While original aspects remain, the amenities are modern and luxurious for guests to enjoy. From the Taffeta suite and the Damask suite to the Egyptian Cotton Rooms, all 83 rooms are bright and beautifully furnished, guaranteeing guests all they could need for a perfect stay. With a library and rooftop pool, guests may find it hard to reason leaving the Cotton House during their time in Barcelona.

If you’re hungry check out the hotel’s cosmopolitan cocktail bar and restaurant, “Batuar.” Open from 7AM until midnight, Batuar offers a wide range of local fare, all made with market ingredients of the very highest quality typical of Mediterranean cuisine.
